Cambridge Forum for Jewish Studies

 

This term’s meeting of the Cambridge Forum for Jewish Studies will be held on Wednesday 21st November at 4:30pm in the Keynes Room at the University Library (4th Floor).

We will have the following programme:

(1) Presentation of research from Dr Nadia Vidro (Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies): “The Karaite grammatical tradition: learning Biblical Hebrew in medieval Jerusalem”

(2) Melonie Schmierer-Lee: Introducing the Forum’s new website

(3) Presentation of research from Linda Stone (Faculty of History): “Biblical exegesis in Twelfth-Century Christian-Jewish relations”

After the meeting, we will continue discussions down the road in the convivial atmosphere of the Granta pub.
